Director of Business Development and Marketing

Jim Daly joined Legg Mason Capital Management in 1994 and is responsible for new business development and for managing select client relationships. He works primarily with the large-plan-sponsor market. Prior to joining Legg Mason Capital Management, he was a Principal in the investment management division of Alex. Brown & Sons in Baltimore where he began his investment career in 1980. He is currently a member of the Association of Investment Management Sales Executives. Jim earned a B.A. from Loyola College.

Manager of Client Investment Services

John Lawson provides investment-related service to LMCM's institutional clients. He also oversees a team of analysts dedicated to providing investment support to clients, prospects and internal senior staff. Prior to joining LMCM in 2003, he was an Equity Research Associate for Mesirow Financial. He also worked as a Business Development Manager for two entrepreneurial companies and as an Investment Banking Analyst for Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. John graduated with honors from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics and earned an MBA in Finance, Accounting, and Strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He received his CFA designation in 2006.

Kathleen Anderson joined Legg Mason Capital Management in 2003. She is currently responsible for investment-related client service for the registered pooled account products. Previously, she was employed by Legg Mason Funds Marketing, where she was responsible for branch and client meetings for all of the Legg Mason Funds. Kathleen earned a B.A. from Loyola College.

Donald Li joined Legg Mason Capital Management in 1999 and is currently responsible for equity research and analytical support for clients. Prior to joining Legg Mason Capital Management full-time, Donald worked for the firm for one year as an intern assisting with research while he completed his Masters degree. Donald earned a B.S. in Economics from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland. Donald received the CFA designation in 2002.
